Cost-benefit Analysis of CT Device in Secondary Hospitals in China
Abstract：Objective:To analyze the cost-benefit of CT devices in secondary hospitals of China so as to provide references for the macro-economic management in hospitals as well as medical equipment configuration in different regions.Methods:Two provinces were selected respectively from the eastern,central and western regions in China.Questionnaires were used to collect information among 59 secondary hospitals around the past 5 years.Both economic and technical benefits were analyzed to evaluate the cost-benefit of CT devices.Results:The investment recovery period of CT device in these three areas were 2.5,2.8 and 3.1 years;Benefit cost ratios were 1.9,1.7 and 1.7;the cost recovery rates were 186.48％,171.95％ and 174.09％.Conclusion:The economic benefits of CT devices were significant in all these areas,but the technical benefits should to be improved in the future.
