Discussion on Value-Based Occupation Payment System of Rural Doctors
Abstract：Village doctors were the health gatekeepers in rural areas with great social value.Payment and welfare were always the most concerned problems for this group.Many policies around the village doctors' income were launched,but the problems were still prominnent.It analyzed the deficiencies of current income policy,and pointed out that the financial subsidy from government.The current main sources of village doctors' income,neither could give rural doctors stable earning,nor reflect the true social value.Besides,the social value of village doctors was explored.It insisted that the attributes and characteristics will be clearer along with the gradual development of village doctor occupation.A more stable payment system was needed to improve position attractiveness and group stability of village doctors.
