The Basic Theory and Method of the Integration Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Software CHOICE
Abstract：To understand the basic theory and method of Integration Cost-Effective Analysis Software CHOICE so as to provide the decision maker evidence-based decision basis for the maximum benefit health resource allocation. Methods: Both Chinese and English literature were collected and the concept, models and methods of CHOICE were summarized. Results: Based on Markov Modeling and Monte Carlo matching, CHOICE presents cost-effectiveness ordered list through comparing a series of relative intervention costs and effects and the non-intervention baseline state. Conclusion: CHOICE Software is a critical component of decision making which ensures the available resources are used equitably and efficiently. Continuing to promote the development of standard, concise, scientific, and popular CHOICE software has deep significance.
