Fiscal Investment Scale and Its Difference of Health Care in Tianjin

Abstract:Objective: To compare and analyze Tianjin’s fiscal investment level in medicine and health, explore the fiscal input on health care through comparative analysis. Methods: Using statistical indicators to analyze the fiscal investment scale of health services, and calculating variation coefficient and Gini coefficient. Results: The fiscal investment on health care shows the rapid growth trend in Tianjin, the proportion of health care expenditure in fiscal investment and GDP is low; the variation coefficients of per capita health expenditure change around 0.5, Gini coefficients of fiscal investmeng on medical health vary between 0.20 and 0.31. Conclusion:Although the scale of government expenditure on health is still small, it is relatively fair in Tianjin;the government should increase fiscal investment to solve the problem of insufficient supply.
