Comparative Analysis on EuroQol-5 Dimensions and ShortForm6D in Quality of Life Scale
Abstract：Objective: To understand the differences and ranges between EuroQol-5 Dimensions(EQ-5D) and ShortForm6D(SF-6D) so as to provide the references of economic evaluation in selection and application of measures. Methods:A comparison of the two scales was processed from the descriptive content, sensitivity, valuation methods, scoring algorithms and feasibility. Results: EQ-5D and SF-6D have differences and overlapping. Conclusion: SF-6D is appropriate for milder diseases, especially for the disease has a higher impact on the vitality, however, because of complexity of SF-36, the interviewee may to be educated and have comprehensive ability. EQ-5D is appropriate for poor or serious diseases, and it is easy to operate.
