Research on Medical Insurance System during the City and Countryside Integration in Beijing
Abstract：The basic medical insurance for urban employees, the new rural cooperative medical scheme and the basic medical insurance system for urban residents constitute the framework of current basic national medical insurance system in China. It can be expected that the “fragmentized” medical insurance system will finally be integrated by the integration of urban and rural development. Take the medical insurance system of Beijing ( a typical sample of big city) as the research object, making a preliminary study on the“real” medical insurance system’s current status and evolutional direction of the integration of urban and rural areas from the prospective of urbanization and the aging of population.
