Abstract:Stroke often leads to severe loss of motor function in patients, and traditional rehabilitation methods show limited efficacy for those in the chronic stage.Breaking through the current therapeutic bottlenecks to achieve effective motor function recovery has become an urgent clinical challenge.Spinal cord stimulation(SCS),by precisely modulating spinal neural networks and activating residual neural pathways, promotes neural plasticity and demonstrates remarkable efficacy in improving muscle tone and enhancing motor control. This article summarizes the potential mechanisms, therapeutic effects, and innovative developments of SCS in treating post-stroke motor disorders, providing a reference for the application of SCS in managing motor impairments after stroke.
