Research Progress on the Correlation between Circular RNA and Pituitary Adenomas
Abstract：Circular RNA (circular RNA, circRNA), as a special member of non-coding RNA (non-coding RNA, ncRNA), has been increasingly shown to play a role in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and prognosis evaluation of pituitary adenomas. This article systematically reviews the expression and biological significance of circRNA in pituitary function and different subtypes of pituitary adenomas, revealing the specific mechanisms by which circRNA participates in the development of pituitary adenomas, and exploring its great potential as a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker, providing new strategies and directions for precision medicine in pituitary adenomas.
