Clinical Progress of Traumatic Brain Injury Combined with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Abstract:Traumatic brain injury has become a serious public health issue, not only causing high rates of disability and mortality, but also often combined with long-term psychological complications such as post-traumatic stress disorder, which significantly affect the quality of life and social function of patients. When both conditions coexist, the rehabilitation process becomes more complex, and the treatment difficulty is significantly increased. This article reviews the clinical progress of traumatic brain injury combined with post-traumatic stress disorder in recent years, including clinical symptoms, pathogenesis, imaging examinations, treatment strategies, nursing interventions, and challenges faced, hoping to provide assistance and guidance for further effective improvement of the symptoms of traumatic brain injury combined with post-traumatic stress disorder.
