Abstract:Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of full-procedure visual endoscopy in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of 30 patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage in the basal nucleus area were analyzed retrospectively, who underwent endoscopic surgery.Among them,15 patients were treated with full-procedure visual endoscopy(full-visual group),and 15 patients were treated with traditional endoscopy(traditional group). The operation time, incidence of surgical tract hemorrhage, incidence of postoperative rebleeding in the surgical area, and Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS)scores at 6 months postoperatively were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in preoperative clinical data between the two groups(all P>0.05).The difference in operation time between the full-visual group and the traditional group was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of surgical tract hemorrhage, incidence of postoperative rebleeding in the surgical area, and GOS scores at 6 months postoperatively between the full-visual group and the traditional group(all P>0.05).Conclusions Compared with traditional endoscopy, the minimally invasive surgical technique for cerebral hemorrhage assisted by full-procedure visual endoscopy can shorten the operation time, reduce surgical risks and difficulties, improve surgical efficiency, and enhance surgeons'confidence. The surgery is safer and more efficacious, thus being worthy of wider clinical application.
