Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of positive psychology intervention on continuous quality improvement of nursing care for patients with high-grade glioma(HGG).Methods A convenience sampling method was adopted to select 124 patients with HGG,who were randomly divided equally into a control group and an intervention group.Patients in the control group received routine postoperative nursing, while those in the intervention group received positive psychology-based nursing interventions in addition to the routine care. The treatment compliance,General Well-being Schedule(GWB)scores, and Activities of Daily Living(ADL)scores were compared between the two groups after the interventions. Results The excellent and good compliance rate in the intervention group was 95.15%,significantly higher than that of 83.87%in the control group(P<0.05).The GWB score in the intervention group was(56.73±3.42),significantly higher than that of(53.81±2.76)in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in ADL scores between the two groups before the intervention(P>0.05).After the intervention, the ADL score of the intervention group was(57.49±9.16),significantly higher than that of(47.31±8.37)in the control group and before the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of positive psychology intervention for HGG patients can effectively improve the quality of nursing care and treatment compliance, which is of great significance in enhancing patients'subjective well-being and daily living abilities.
