Correlation between Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL levels and prognosis of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage

Abstract：Objective To analyze the correlation between lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2),soluble lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor-1(sLOX-1),oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL)levels and prognosis of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage(HICH)patients.Methods The clinical data of 66 patients with HICH were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were followed up for 1 month after surgery.The prognosis of patients was assessed using the Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS).Scores 1 to 3 were classified as poor prognosis(n=32)and 4 to 5 as good prognosis(n=34).Baseline data,Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1,ox-LDL levels and National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)scores in the two groups were compared.The correlation between Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1,ox-LDL levels and NIHSS score in HICH patients was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis.Receiver operator characteristic(ROC)curve analysis of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL levels was used to evaluate the prognosis of patients with HICH.Results There were no differences in the gender,age,time from onset to admission and course of hypertension between the two groups(P>0.05),but the blood loss of HICH patients in the poor prognosis group was higher(P<0.05).The levels of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1,ox-LDL and NIHSS in HICH patients with poor prognosis were higher than those in good prognosis group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the levels of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL were positively correlated with NIHSS score in HICH patients(P<0.05).ROC analysis results showed that the optimal critical values of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL levels for prognosis with HICH were 157.75μg/L,362.50 ng/L and 54.15μg/dL,respectively.The areas under the curve were 0.793,0.900 and 0.793,respectively(P<0.05).The sensitivity was 75.00%,87.50%,78.13%,and the specificity was 82.35%,82.35%,76.47%,respectively.Conclusion The levels of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL in patients with HICH in the poor prognosis group show high expression,and the higher the levels of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL in patients with HICH,the more serious the neurological injury.And,the levels of Lp-PLA2,sLOX-1 and ox-LDL are of certain value in predicting the prognosis of patients with HICH.
