Abstract:Objective To explore the application of fused images, acquired through high-resolution cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)and 3-dimensional digital subtraction angiography(3D-DSA),in assessing the apposition of flow diverters(FD).Methods Fifteen patients who underwent flow diverter placement in were subjected.Following the deployment of the flow diverter,high-resolution CBCT and standard 3D-DSA scans were conducted.Image fusion was then executed on a post-processing workstation, allowing for the comprehensive assessment of the FD's adherence to the vessel wall from any perspective within the three-dimensional fusion image. Results Fusion images combining high-resolution CBCT and 3D DSA were successfully generated for all patients. These images facilitated the evaluation of FD wall adherence from any angle, revealing that 13 cases exhibited good adherence while 2 cases showed poor adherence. Conclusions Three-dimensional fusion images provide a clear and intuitive visualization of the relationship between the flow diverter and the parent artery, enabling multi-angle assessments and thereby enhancing the precision of the evaluation process.
