Abstract:Objective To explore the comparison of the therapeutic effects of cerebral endovascular intervention and craniotomy on intracranial microaneurysms.Method A total of 80 patients diagnosed with intracranial aneurysms were retrospectively analyzed.According to different surgical approaches, the patients were randomly divided into an experimental group of 45 cases and a control group of 35 instances. The control group received craniotomy and clipping surgery, while the experimental group received intracerebrovascular embolization.During the process, indicators such as the arterial dense embolism rate, postoperative complication rate, treatment cost and treatment time, postoperative prognosis, and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups of patients to evaluate the differences between the two treatments.Result The rates of dense arterial embolism in the two groups were compared. The experimental group had a greater risk of postoperative dense embolization(66.67%)than the control group(57.14%),the distinction was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P<0.05).In the comparison of treatment costs between the two groups, the total cost of the experimental group was(13.58±1.22)million yuan, which was much higher than the cost of the control group(7.65±1.14)million yuan, and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).Following surgery, there was a big difference in the length of stay and recovery time between the two groups of patients, with the length of stay and recovery time in the experimental group being significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Furthermore,patients in the experimental group had much higher quality of life than patients in the control group. Conclusion Both surgical methods can effectively treat patients with intracranial microaneurysms.Among them, intracerebrovascular intervention is less invasive to patients, has faster postoperative recovery, and can significantly shorten hospitalization and recovery time, but it is more expensive.
