Abstract:Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) in the patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods The clinical data of 10 patients with CVST were analyzed retrospectively. The CT scan revealed a high-density mass in the frontal and parietal lobes, lateral fissure, longitudinal fissure cistern and basilar cistern, or temporal gyrus and sulcus in 10 cases, which was considered SAH. But the CVST was diagnosed in 10 patients by MRV and DSA angiography. After 7 to 10 days of treatment with low molecular weight heparin, the anticoagulat Warfarin or Rivaroxaban was used for 1 year. Results The venous sinus was showed of complete recanalization in 6 cases, and partial patency or significantly improved in cortical collateral circulation in 4. Conclusions Intracranial CVST rarely manifests as SAH, so it should be diagnosed by clinical characteristics and early imaging. The reasonable comprehensive treatment can improve the outcomes.
