Superiority and feasibility of Robot of Stereotactic Assistant system for the treatment of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage
Abstract:Objective To compare the efficiency of Robot of Stereotactic Assistant (ROSA) system-assisted and stereotactic frame-assisted intracerebral hematoma drainage for the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of 146 patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage undergoing intracerebral hematoma drainage were analyzed retrospectively. According to the time node, patients were divided into frame group (n=58, stereotactic frame assisted, August 2015 to April 2016) and ROSA group (n=88, the ROSA assisted, May to November 2016). Results The operation time was 48.02±7.68 min in frame group and 30.13±8.72 min in ROSA group. The postoperative rebleeding rate was 10.3%(6/58) in frame group and 1.1%(1/88) in ROSA group. The postoperative extubation time was 3.64±0.87 d in frame group and 1.12±0.36 d in ROSA group. ROSA group was superior to frame group in the operation time, postoperative rebleeding rate and postoperative extubation time (all P<0.05). Conclusions ROSA assisted intracerebral hematoma drainage in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage can effectively reduce the operation time, postoperative rebleeding rate and postoperative extubation time and lighten the burden of the patients, thus being worthy of clinical popularization.
