Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of hybrid surgery for intracranial aneurysms. Methods Clinical data of 9 patients with intracranial aneurysms undergoing hybrid surgery were analyzed retrospectively. With the assistance of real-time digital substraction angiography (DSA) and temporary balloon occlusion, the aneurysms were treated appropriately, the parent artery was remodelled, and the adjacent vascular branches were protected well. Results The intraoperative DSA was used in 9 patients, and clipping assisted with balloon in 4. All the aneurysms were successfully clipped. Focal infarction was found in 1 patient and epilepsy in 1 after the operation. The GOS scores at hospital discharge were as follows:good recovery in 6 patients, mild disability in 2, and severe disability in 1. Conclusion Hybrid surgery is a safe, feasible and effective treatment strategy for intracranial aneurysm.
