Abstract:Objective To summarize the diagnosis and treatment experiences of the multiple aneurysms with mirror middle cerebral artery aneurysm by aneurysm clipping via right pterional approach. Methods Clinical data of a patient with M1 bifurcation aneurysms in bilateral middle cerebral arteries complicated by anterior communicating artery aneurysm, which were clipped via right pterional approach, were analyzed retrospectively. The relevant literatures were reviewed. Results All the aneurysms were clipped successfully. No complications occurred after the surgery. The patient was diagnosed with gastric cancer 2 months after surgery and quit further examination and treatment. Conclusion It is feasible that the multiple aneurysms with mirror middle cerebral artery aneurysms are clipped via unilateral pterional approach by surgical equipment in appropriate patients.
