Abstract:Objective To investigate the dynamic changes of blood perfusion after meningioma embolization by NBCA glue. Methods The CT perfusion imaging techniques was used to observe blood perfusion dynamics in meningioma embolization area, non-embolization area and surrounding brain tissue after NBCA embolization at different time points. Results After meningioma embolized by NBCA glue, the CT perfusion parameters had certain regularities in tumor and non-tumor tissue with prolongation of time, in which the ischemic changes of tumor embolism area reached a peak at 7-10 days after embolization, and non-embolization area had a similar ischemic changes. Conclusions The dynamic changes of blood perfusion meningiomas embolization with NBCA is confirmed, which provide a theoretical basis for optimal surgical timing of meningioma.
