Education and Training System,Professional Responsibilities and Career Employment Development of Extracorporeal Circulation Perfusionist in Canada

Abstract:The perfusionist training system in Canada is characterized by high standardization and specialization with rig-orous criteria governing admission requirements,curriculum design,and certification.This article systematically introduces the education and training model,national certification system,employment environment and working patterns for perfusionists in Canada.Furthermore,in light of industry trends,it explores new opportunities and challenges facing the profession in areas such as artificial cardiopulmonary technology,prolonged extracorporeal support and interdisciplinary collaboration,aiming to provide a reference for domestic counterparts.
