Abstract:Temporary mechanical circulatory support(tMCS)has emerged as a critical component in the management of cardiogenic shock, with its clinical application expanding significantly in recent years. However, current evidence remains limited by the paucity of large-scale randomized controlled trials(RCTs)demonstrating mortality reduction with its tMCS implementa-tion.A comprehensive understanding of the distinct therapeutic roles and hemodynamic effects of various tMCS devices in cardi-ac dysfunction management is essential for developing personalized treatment strategies. This review will systematically examine the evolutionary trajectory and contemporary clinical landscape of commonly employed tMCS technologies, while identifying critical knowledge gaps and future investigative priorities in this rapidly advancing field.
