Fine-Grained Cardiopulmonary Bypass Perfusion Management Practices of McGill University Health Center:Insights from Clinical Observations

Abstract:This paper elaborates on the fine-grained operational practices in the entire process of perfusion management of McGill University Health Center's cardiac surgery department through clinical observations of cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB)operations.The practices encompass all phases,including preoperative preparation,intraoperative CPB operation,weaning and post-bypass management,as well as postoperative care.This study analyzes the innovative aspects of this center in terms of equipment utilization,technical selection,and team collaboration.The experiences are summarized,and their enlightenment for the field of CPB in China are discussed,aiming to provide practical references and experience for domestic CPB practice.
