Current status of inter-hospital transport vehicle for patients undergoing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in China

Abstract：The condition of patients undergoing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO) are complex,but the paitents often need to be transferred to other units for treatment,with a high risk of transport. This article briefly reviews the safety of ECMO inter-hospital patient transport,the selection of transfer vehicles,the preparation before transfer,the research status and matters of transfer vehicles in China,so as to provide some reference for safe clinical ECMO transport.
