Clinical application and progress of thrombelastography in infant cardiac surgery

Abstract：Thromboelastography(TEG)has been recommended for guiding the use of blood products during the perioperative period of adult heart surgery,but its application and clinical research in complex congenital cardiac surgery for infants remain limited.By reviewing relevant clinical research in recent years,this paper introduces the basic concepts and monitoring indicators,and clinical significance of TEG.It also summarizes the application and research progress of TEG in pediatric cardiac surgery,to provide guidance for its further clinical implementation.
