Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of multiple blood purification techniques for severe hemolytic renal failure after mitral valvuloplasty. Methods Retrospective analysis of the diagnosis and treatment process for one case of mechanical hemolysis after mitral valvuloplasty, complicated with severe anemia and renal failure. Three ultrafiltration techniques of plasmapheresis, blood concen?tration and dialysis were used. Results The patient recovered completely. Conclusions Severe hemolysis after mitral repair should bediagnosedand managed early. Combined multiple blood purification techniquesare effective in renal failure caused by severe hyper?hemoglobinemia.
