The Effect of Mindfulness Training Intervention Based on the Emotional ABC Theory on Sleep Quality and Psychological State of Patients with Climacteric Syndrome

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of mindfulness training intervention model based on the Emotional ABC Theory on sleep quality,psychological resilience level and coping style of patients with climacteric syndrome,so as to provide a basis for formulating precise clinical nursing programs.Methods A total of 120 patients with climacteric syndrome admitted to Dongyuan Town Central Health Center of Quanzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone from June 2023 to May 2025 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The sleep quality,psychological state and coping style of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of subjective sleep quality,sleep efficiency,falling asleep time,sleep duration,sleep disorders,daytime functional disorders,sleeping pills used,and total score of sleep quality in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of resilience,self-improvement,optimism,and total score of psychological resilience in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had higher scores in problem-solving,seeking help,and rationalization dimensions than the control group,while the scores in self blame,fantasy,and avoidance dimensions were lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing intervention based on the Emotional ABC Theory can significantly improve sleep quality and psychological resilience level,and promote patients to adopt more positive coping styles.
