The Effect of the Qi Regulating Machine Method on the Recovery and Recurrence of Uterine Fibroids after Removal Surgery

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of the qi regulating machine method on postoperative recovery and recurrence of uterine fibroids after removal surgery.Methods Two hundred and eighty patients who underwent uterine fibroid removal surgery in Suzhou Pingjiang Hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 140 patients in each group.The control group was treated with mifepristone combined with triptorelin.On the basis of the control group,the experimental group patients were treated with the qi regulating machine method,and both groups were continuously used for 3 months.The traditional Chinese medicine symptom(TCM)scores,sex hormone indicators,uterine ultrasound parameters before and after treatment in two groups were compared,and the recurrence rate of uterine fibroids were calculated.Results After treatment,both groups showed a significant increase in endometrial thickness,and significant decreases in TCM scores,uterine volume,endometrial resistance index,and sex hormone indicators.The difference between groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).The follow-up results showed that the 6-month and 12-month recurrence rate in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients undergoing myomectomy,qi regulating machine method can significantly adjust their sex hormone indicators,improve the condition of the uterus,and reduce the recurrence of fibroids.
