Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of comprehensive rehabilitation management based on the unaccompanied care model on joint function recovery and quality of life of patients with ankle fractures. Methods Ninety patients with ankle fractures who received treatment in Fuzhou Second General Hospital from January 2024 to April 2025 were collected and randomly divided into a control group(n=45)and an observation group(n=45).The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received full rehabilitation management based on unaccompanied care model. The joint function recovery and quality of life improvement between the two groups after nursing care were compared. Results The observation group had shorter swelling resolution time, pain relief time, complete weight-bearing time, fracture healing time, and activity recovery time compared to the control group(P<0.05).The scores in each dimension and total scores of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and generic quality of life inventory in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive rehabilitation management based on the unaccompanied nursing model can significantly promote functional recovery of the ankle joint, reduce the complication rate, and accelerate the rehabilitation process in patients undergoing ankle fracture surgery.
