Effect of Targeted Nursing on Patients with Periodontitis during Pregnancy

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of targeted nursing on patients with periodontitis during pregnancy.Methods A total of 120 patients with periodontitis during pregnancy admitted to the Periodontal Mucosa Department of Yinchuan Stomatological Hospital from January 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the study objects,and all the patients were divided into a targeted group and a control group with 60 cases in each group by random number table method.The targeted group accepted routine nursing combined targeted nursing,and the control group accepted routine nursing.The periodontal health-related indicators,quality of life,pain levels before and after nursing,and post nursing satisfaction between two groups were compared.Results After nursing,both groups showed improvement in periodontal health-related indicators compared to before nursing,and the targeted group showed significantly better periodontal health-related indicators than those of the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the pain visual analogue score and quality of life score of both groups were significantly lower than before nursing,and the pain visual analogue score and quality of life score of the targeted group after nursing were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of targeted group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted nursing for patients with periodontitis during pregnancy has a good effect,which can effectively improve their periodontal status,relieve pain,enhance their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.It is worth promoting and using.
