Application Effect of Preventive Safety Management Combined with Psychological Intervention of Companions in Vaccinated Children in Planned Immunization Clinic

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of preventive safety nursing combined with psychological nursing of companions in vaccinated children in planned immunization clinic.Methods A total of 360 children and their companions who received planned vaccination at the Chengtangzhuang Street Community Health Service Center in Hexi District,Tianjin,from January to September 2024 were selected as study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and a combined nursing group,with 180 children and their companions in each group.The control group received routine care,while the combined nursing group received preventive safety nursing combined with psychological support for companions.The compliance with vaccination,incidence of adverse emotions,occurrence of vaccine-related adverse reactions,and psychological status before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups of children.Additionally,the nursing satisfaction of companions and their negative emotions before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups.Results The compliance rate of childhood vaccination in the combined nursing group was significantly higher than that in the control group,while the incidence rates of adverse emotions and adverse reactions in the combined nursing group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the psychological condition scores of children in both groups improved compared to before the intervention,and the scores in the combined nursing group were significantly superior than those in the control group(P<0.05).Similarly,the negative emotion scores of accompanying individuals in both groups improved after the intervention compared to before the intervention,and those in the combined nursing group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,the combined nursing group scored significantly higher across all dimensions of nursing satisfaction compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion During the vaccination process of children in the planned immunization clinic,the combination of preventive safety care and psychological care of companions can improve children's vaccination compliance,reduce the occurrence of adverse emotions and reactions,improve children's psychological status,and effectively improve the negative emotions of companions,thereby increasing their satisfaction with care.
