The Improvement Effect of People-Oriented Health Education on Shoulder Joint Function,Self-Care Ability,and Quality of Life of Patients with Shoulder Periarthritis

Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of people-centered health education on patients with periarthritis of shoulder.Methods Eighty patients with shoulder periarthritis admitted to Yanping District Mangdang Town Health Center of Nanping from January 2023 to April 2024 were randomly divided into a control group(n=40)and an observation group(n=40)using a random number method.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received people-oriented health education on the basis of the control group.The shoulder joint function,self-care ability,and quality of life between two groups of patients before and after nursing care were compared.Results After nursing,the scores of shoulder joint function,self-care ability,and quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the nursing intervention of patients with frozen shoulder,adopting a people-oriented health education can help enhance patients'self-care ability,promote shoulder joint function recovery,and improve their quality of life.
