The Influence of Five-Sense and Six-Sense Intervention Combined with Pulmonary Rehabilitation Training on the Postoperative Recovery of Lung Cancer Patients

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of five-sense and six-sense intervention combined with pulmonary rehabilitation training in patients after lung cancer surgery.Methods Eighty lung cancer patients admitted to the Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into a control group(n=40)and an combination group(n=40).The control group received pulmonary rehabilitation training,while the combination group received further combined intervention with five senses and six senses.Compare the improvement of respiratory and motor function,psychological status,self-efficacy,quality of life,and self-care ability between two groups of patients.Results The scores of Borg Scale,21-item depression,anxiety and stress scales,and Medical Research Council dyspnea scale in the combination group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of 6-minute walk test,Chinese version of the strategies used by people to promote health,quality of life questionnaire core 30,and exercise of self-care agency scale in the combination group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The five senses and six senses intervention combined with pulmonary rehabilitation training can improve the postoperative respiratory motor function of lung cancer patients,optimize their mood,and enhance self-efficacy and quality of life.
