Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of pediatric tuina combined with budesonide nebulized inhalation in the treatment of acute asthma attack. Methods One hundred children with acute asthma attacks admitted to the Xinshi Street Community Health Service Center in Baiyun District,Guangzhou from April 2024 to August 2025 were selected as the research subjects, they were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. On the basis of basic treatment, the control group was treated with budesonide nebulization inhalation, while the observation group was further treated with pediatric massage. The duration of clinical symptoms and the improvement of inflammatory factors and lung function between two groups of children were compared. Results After treatment, the duration of restlessness, coughing, dyspnea, wheezing, and cyanosis in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-1β,interleukin-6,interleukin-8,interleukin-18,and immunoglobulin E in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had higher tidal volume,%T-PF,%V-PF,and peak expiratory flow than the control group, while RR was lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of pediatric massage and budesonide nebulization therapy for acute asthma attacks can effectively shorten the duration of symptoms, reduce inflammatory reactions, and improve lung function.
