Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of prospective nursing in children with severe pneumonia undergoing nebulization inhalation. Methods One hundred and twenty pediatric patients with severe pneumonia treated with nebulized inhalation at Ninghua County General Hospital from June 2021 to September 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with a sample size of 60 in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received prospective nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The clinical symptom relief time, score of Mishel uncertainty in illness scale-family member form(MUIS-FM),and parental satisfaction between two groups of children were compared. Results After nursing, the clinical symptom relief time in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The score of MUIS-FM in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The score of parental satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of severe pneumonia in children with nebulization inhalation, the use of prospective nursing can significantly improve clinical symptoms, reduce the uncertainty of family members'illness, and improve parental satisfaction, with high clinical application value.
