Application Effect of Detail and Psychological Dual-Track Management in Patients undergoing Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of detail and psychological dual-track nursing management in patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy.Methods Sixty patients who underwent gastrointestinal endoscopy and received conventional care at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January to December 2024 were selected as the conventional group.Another sixty patients who received detailed and psychological dual-track nursing management during the same period were selected as the combined nursing group.The examination time,cooperation level,comfort level,nursing satisfaction,as well as physiological stress responses(heart rate,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure)upon admission and before the examination,along with self-efficacy and negative emotions before and after the intervention,were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The combined nursing group showed significantly higher scores for cooperation and comfort,as well as shorter examination times compared to the conventional group(all P<0.05).Prior to the examination,both groups exhibited significantly elevated heart rate,systolic blood pressure,and diastolic blood pressure levels compared to admission,with the combined nursing group demonstrating significantly lower levels than the conventional group(all P<0.05).After the intervention,both self-efficacy and negative emotion scores improved significantly compared to pre-intervention levels,with the combined nursing group outperforming the conventional group in both aspects(all P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction score of the combined nursing group was significantly higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The dual-track nursing management of details and psychology can effectively improve the physiological and psychological stress of patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy,ensuring the smooth progress of the examination,and is worth promoting and using.
