Abstract:Objective To exploring the application effect of comprehensive nursing incorporating IKAP theory in patients undergoing percutaneous renal biopsy(PRB).Methods A total of 160 patients who underwent PRB at the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University from January to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were randomly divided into an IKAP group and a control group using a random number table method, with 80 patients in each group. The IKAP group received comprehensive nursing incorporating IKAP theory, while the control group received routine nursing. The anxiety and depression levels before and after nursing care between two groups,as well as the degree of pain and incidence of postoperative complications at different time points after surgery were compared. Results After nursing, the anxiety and depression scores of both groups were significantly lower than before nursing, and the anxiety and depression scores of the IKAP group were significantly lower than those of the control group after nursing(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups at 6 hours after surgery(P>0.05).At 12 and 24 hours after surgery, the pain score in the IKAP group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the IKAP group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Among patients undergoing PRB,adopting comprehensive nursing integrated with IKAP theory can improve patients'anxiety and depression, alleviate pain levels, and have fewer postoperative complications. It is worth promoting and using.
