Abstract:Objective To study the application effect of cognitive intervention based on cross-theoretical model in patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS)treated by mechanical embolectomy. Methods Sixty AIS patients who received mechanical embolectomy in Nanping First Hospital from July 2022 to June 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into a control group(n=30)and a study group(n=30),by a random number table method. The control group was given routine intervention, while the study group was given cognitive intervention based on cross-theoretical model on the basis of routine intervention. The clinical indicators, health behavior, quality of life of two groups were compared. Results The postoperative oral intake time, time of getting out of bed, hospital stay of the research group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, and the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale at 7 days after operation were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of the health promoting lifestyle profile-Ⅱ and the generic quality of inventory in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive intervention based on cross-theoretical model can effectively improve the health behavior of patients treated with mechanical embolectomy in AIS,promote the improvement of neurological and cognitive functions, and improve the quality of life.
