Abstract:Objective To compare the short-term efficacy and prognosis of laparoscopic radical resection and open surgery for patients with liver cancer. Methods Sixty patients with liver cancer admitted to Clinical Medical College of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected and divided into a control group(n=30)and an observation group(n=30),by a random number table method. The control group was treated with open surgery, while the observation group was treated with laparoscopic radical resection of liver cancer. The perioperative indicators of the two groups of patients were compared. Results After surgery, the observation group had shorter operation time, postoperative exhaust time, postoperative extubation time, absolute bed rest time, hospitalization time, bowel sound recovery time, and defecation time than the control group(P<0.05).The levels of C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The serum albumin of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the total bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of adrenaline, norepinephrine, and dopamine in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The short-term efficacy and survival prognosis of laparoscopic radical resection for liver cancer are superior to those of open surgery, with this advantage being manifested in various aspects such as postoperative recovery, inflammatory status, organ damage, and stress.
