Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of ultrasound-guided visualized acupotomy on lumbar spine range of motion in patients with lower back pain. Methods Ninety patients with lower back pain admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical College from January 2024 to December 2024 were collected and divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group accepted lumbar traction, while the observation group accepted ultrasound-guided visualized acupotomy. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results The VAS scores at 1 month and 3 months post-treatment,as well as the ODI scores at 3 months and 6 months post-treatment,were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).The FRR values for the erector spinae muscles during extension, flexion, and dynamic muscle endurance were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with low back pain who undergo ultrasound-guided visualized acupotomy can experience better enhancement of lumbar muscle strength and myoelectric conduction,as well as reduced pain, thereby improving lumbar function.
