Effect of Shengti Moxibustion Combined with Massage and Electrical Stimulation in the Treatment of Postpartum Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Shengti moxibustion combined with massage and electrical stimulation in the treatment of postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction.Methods A total of 86 postpartum women with pelvic floor dysfunction treated at Dongping County People's Hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the subjects.All patients were divided into a control group and an observation group(43 cases in each group)using a random number table method.The control group received conventional education and electrical stimulation therapy.The observation group was treated with meridian massage and Shengti moxibustion on the basis of the control group treatment plan.Compare the clinical treatment effects and pelvic floor muscle strength after treatment between two groups,as well as the pelvic floor surface electromyography values and quantitative staging of pelvic organ prolapse before and after treatment between two groups.Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the proportion of cases with pelvic floor muscle strength levels 4 and 5 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The pelvic floor surface electromyography values of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the proportion of cases with grade 0 in the quantitative staging of pelvic organ prolapse in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Adopted treatment with Shengti moxibustion combined with massage and electrical stimulation has good clinical effects for postpartum women with pelvic floor dysfunction,which can enhance pelvic floor muscle strength,improve pelvic organ prolapse,and improve pelvic floor function.It is worth promoting and using.
