Abstract:Objective To study the clinical value of xipayi gum-fixing liquid combined with minocycline in the treatment of periodontitis of Stage Ⅲ.Methods The 82 patients with periodontitis of Stage Ⅲ who were treated in Linzi Maternal and Child Health Hospital(Qidu Hospital)from June 2021 to March 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group(41 cases)was treated with minocycline, and the study group(41 cases)was treated with sipayi gum-fixing solution on the basis of minocycline. The clinical efficacy, periodontal index, inflammation index, bone absorption index and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical efficacy rate of the study group was 97.56%,which was higher than 80.49%of the control group(P<0.05).The gingival index, periodontal pocket depth, sulcular bleeding index, and mobility in the study group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of interleukin-6,interleukin-8,interleukin-1β,interleukin-17,tumor necrosis factor-α,and C-reactive protein in the study group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The bone resorption in the study group was lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 9.76%,which was not statistically significantly different from the 4.88%in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Sipayi Gum-Fixing Liquid combined with Minocycline has a significant therapeutic effect, which can effectively improve the periodontal health of patients with periodontitis of Stage Ⅲ,inhibit inflammatory reaction and bone absorption, and has no significant increase in adverse reactions.
