Abstract:Objective To evaluate the early analgesic effect of dexmedetomidine combined with ropivacaine under ultrasound guidance after cesarean section. Methods Sixty parturients undergoing cesarean section surgery, admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from August 2024 to February 2025,were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given 30 mL of 0.3%ropivacaine for bilateral transversus abdominis plane(TAP)block analgesia, while the observation group was given 1 μg/kg of dexmedetomidine combined with 30 mL of 0.3%ropivacaine for bilateral TAP block analgesia. The pain conditions, hemodynamic indicators, postoperative QoR-15 scale scores and the occurrence of adverse reactions within 2 days after surgery were compared between the two groups at 1 hour(T1),12 hours(T2),24 hours(T3),and 48 hours(T4)after surgery. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of T1 and T4 between the observation group and the control group after the operation(P>0.05),while the VAS scores of T2 and T3 after the operation were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in hemodynamic indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups at each time point(P>0.05).The QoR-15 scale scores of the observation group at T3 and T4 time points after the operation were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The analgesic regimen of ultrasound-guided dexmedetomidine combined with ropivacaine transversus abdominis plane block after cesarean section can effectively prolong the postoperative analgesic time without increasing the occurrence of adverse reactions, and has a good pain management effect.
