The Impact of Huoxue Xiaozheng Decoction Combined with Goserelin on Recovery and Recurrence after Myomectomy in Patients with Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis Type of Uterine Fibroids

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Huoxue Xiaozheng Decoction combined with goserelin in recovery and recurrence in patients after myomectomy.Methods Sixty patients undergoing uterine myomectomy at Xiang'an District Maternal and Child Health Hospital between January 2018 and December 2021 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 30 patients in each group.Both groups accepted uterine myomectomy.After operation,the control group received goserelin,while the observation group received Huoxue Xiaozheng Decoction combined with goserelin.The improvement in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,sex hormone levels,uterine volume,recurrence rate,and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,both groups showed reduced symptom scores and levels of luteinizing hormone,follicle-stimulating hormone,and estradiol,and the observation group had lower sex hormone levels than the control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed an increase in uterine volume,while the observation group had smaller uterine volumes after 12 months and 24 months of treatment compared to the control group(P<0.05).The observation group also had a lower recurrence rate of fibroids after 24 months of treatment compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients undergoing myomectomy treated with Huoxue Xiaozheng Decoction combined with goserelin can effectively improve clinical symptoms,reduce sex hormone levels,decrease uterine volume,and effectively prevent postoperative recurrence.
