Abstract:Objective To study the effects of intervention model guided by timing theory in elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods A total of 104 elderly patients with chronic heart failure treated in Guangqian Hospital of Quanzhou from November 2022 to December 2023 were enrolled in this study. They were divided into a control group and a study group, with 52 cases in each group according to the random number table method. The control group adopted conventional intervention, while the study group adopted an intervention model guided by the theory of opportunity based on the conventional intervention. The changes of cardiac function,self-care ability and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After six months of intervention, the cardiac output and left ventricular ejection fraction in the study group were higher than those in the control group, while the left ventricular end-systolic diameter and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of the exercise of self-care agency scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores and total score of the Minnesota heart failure quality of life questionnaire in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention model guided by timing theory in elderly patients with chronic heart failure can effectively promote the improvement of cardiac function,self-care ability and quality of life of patients.
