Establishment of the Key Points of Pharmaceutical Care of Chinese Patent Medicine Containing Toxic Decoction Pieces in Orthopedics

Abstract：Objective To sort out the Chinese patent medicine containing toxic decoction pieces in Orthopedics from the National Basic Medical Insurance,Industrial injury insurance and maternity Insurance Drug Catalogue(2024)(referred to as the new version of the"Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue"),and establish the key points of pharmaceutical care.Methods According to the 83 toxic decoction pieces collected in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the 28 toxic Chinese medicines stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of Toxic Drugs for Medical Use,the Chinese patent medicines containing toxic decoction pieces in Orthopedics in the new edition of the Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue were screened,and the contents of the drug instructions and pharmaceutical care were sorted out.Results A total of 46 kinds of Chinese patent medicines containing toxic decoction pieces in Orthopedics were included in the new Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue,which are mainly concentrated in blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicinal,blood-activating and collateral-dredging medicinal,and kidney-tonifying and bone-strengthening medicinal.Among the 46 kinds of Chinese patent medicines containing toxic decoction pieces,there were 25 kinds of single-flavor toxic decoction pieces.The key points of pharmaceutical care of Chinese patent medicine containing toxic decoction pieces in Orthopedics were established by collecting the pharmaceutical care information in the drug instructions,considering the factors such as pregnant women,lactating women,menstrual period,children,liver and kidney diseases,duration of medication,and so on.Conclusion Chinese patent medicines containing toxic decoction pieces in Orthopedics are a class of drugs that need to be strengthened in pharmaceutical care.It is necessary to do a good job in the pharmaceutical care of pregnant women,lactating women,the patients in their menstrual period,children,the patients with liver and kidney diseases,duration of medication,etc.,so as to provide references for clinical rational drug use.
