Abstract:Objective To summarize and generalize the occurrence patterns of adverse drug reaction(ADR),in order to provide reference for subsequent drug safety. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 328 ADR cases reported in Quanzhou Orthopedic-Traumatological Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023.The basic information, route of administration, types of drugs, involved organs/systems and clinical manifestations of ADR patients were analyzed. Results Among 328 ADR reports, there were 259 cases(78.96%)of general ADRs,62 cases(18.90%)of new general ADRs,4 cases(1.22%)of severe ADRs,and 3 cases(0.91%)of new severe ADRs.Among 328 ADR patients, there were 125 males(38.11%)and 203 females(61.89%).The probability of ADR in females was significantly higher than that in males.Among the patients with ADR,the highest proportion was observed in the 61~70 years(65 cases,19.82%)and 71~80 years(65 cases,19.82%)age groups.Among 328 ADR reports, the most frequent administration route was intravenous infusion(248 cases,75.61%),followed by oral administration(37 cases,11.28%).Antimicrobial agents accounted for the highest number of ADR-related drugs(124 cases,37.80%),followed by traditional Chinese medicine injections(42 cases,12.80%).Skin and its appendages were the most frequently involved organs/systems(103 cases,31.40%),followed by nervous system(51 cases,15.55%)and blood system(51 cases,15.55%).Conclusion The occurrence of ADR is associated with a variety of factors, among which antimicrobial agents and intravenous administration routes are the main factors leading to adverse reactions in patients. It is suggested that hospitals strengthen control to ensure drug safety.
