Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of predictive nursing combined with respiratory relaxation training on postoperative pain and functional recovery in patients undergoing mixed hemorrhoid surgery. Methods From June 2022 to December 2023,228 patients scheduled for mixed hemorrhoid surgery admitted to Baodi Hospital Affiliated to Tianjin Medical University were randomly divided into a control group and an intervention group, with 114 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing measures, while the intervention group received predictive nursing combined with respiratory relaxation training in addition to routine nursing. The postoperative pain and functional recovery between two groups of patients were compared. Results Three days and one week after surgery, the NRS score and Wexner score of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The first defecation time, first urination time, recovery time of anal sphincter tension, disappearance time of defecation disorders, and duration of defecation of the intervention group were shorted than those of the control group, while the frequency of defecation was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).One week after surgery, the anal resting pressure, maximum anal systolic pressure, defecation pressure, and maximum systolic endurance of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Six months after surgery, the incidence of chronic pain in the intervention group was 0.88%,which was lower than the control group's 6.14%(P<0.05).Conclusion Proactive nursing combined with respiratory relaxation training can effectively alleviate early postoperative pain in patients with mixed hemorrhoids, promote the recovery of anal and bowel function, and reduce the occurrence of chronic postoperative pain.
