Abstract:Objective To study the application value of stratified intervention model based on national institutes of health stroke scale(NIHSS)in the emergency nursing of acute ischemic stroke patients. Methods One-hundred patients with acute ischemic stroke who received treatment at Hekou District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Dongying City from September 2018 to October 2024 were randomly divided into a control group and a study group, with 50 patients in each group by a random number table method. The control group received routine intervention, while the study group adopted a stratified intervention model based on NIHSS score on the above basis. The rescue effectiveness indicators, hospitalization time, neurological and cognitive function, and quality of life between two groups were compared. Results The time from diagnosis to admission, time from admission to thrombolytic therapy, emergency room treatment time,ICU stay time, and hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).After 2 months of intervention, the NIHSS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, while the scores of the mental state examination scale and the the short version of World Health Organization quality of life were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the rescue of patients with acute ischemic stroke, the application of a stratified intervention model based on NIHSS score is beneficial for improving rescue efficiency, promoting neurological and cognitive function recovery, and improving quality of life.
