The Efficacy of Yiwei Chupi Formula Combined with Western Medicine Triple Therapy in the Treatment of Peptic Ulcer with Liver-Stomach Disharmony Syndrome

Abstract:Objective To observe of the combination efficacy of yiwei chupi formula and triple therapy of ribapart,magnesium aluminum carbonate,omeprazole in the treatment of peptic ulcer(PU)with liver-stomach disharmony syndrome.Methods Ninety PU patients treated at Liyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January to June 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a experimental group and a control group,with 45 patients in each.The control group was treated with a triple therapy of rabeprazole,magnesium aluminum carbonate,and omeprazole,while the experimental group was treated with yiwei chupi formula additionally.The changes in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,inflammatory factors,and gastrointestinal hormone were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,interleukin-8,motilin,and gastrin in both groups decreased,and the experimental group was lower than the control group(P<0.01).The interleukin-2,somatostatin,and calcitonin gene related peptide in both groups increased,and the experimental group was higher than the control group(P<0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion For patients of PU with liver-stomach disharmony syndrome,the combination of yiwei chupi formula and triple therapy of western medicine can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms,regulate gastrointestinal hormone levels,and reduce the inflammatory response.
