The Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Targeted Translucent Therapy Combined with Xiakucao Oral Liquid in Promoting Nodule Absorption after Thermal Ablation of Benign Thyroid Nodules

Abstract：Objective To observe of the effect of traditional Chinese medicine targeted transdermal therapy combined with xiacaoku oral liquid on promoting nodule absorption after thermal ablation of benign thyroid nodules.Methods One hundred and eight patients who underwent ultrasound-guided thyroid nodule thermal ablation at Yantai Wanhua Hospital from January 2011 to January 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 54 patients in each group.After surgery,the control group received routine intervention,while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine targeted transdermal therapy combined with xiacaoku oral liquid.The clinical efficacy and the changes of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and maximum nodule diameter between two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.44%,which was higher than the control group's 48.15%(P<0.05).Three months after surgery,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and the maximum diameter of nodules in both groups decreased compared to before treatment,and the observation group was smaller than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese medicine targeted transdermal therapy and Xiacaoku oral liquid can effectively promote nodule absorption after thermal ablation of benign thyroid nodules and improve traditional Chinese medicine syndromes.
